On the 19th July 1988, Archbishop Hickey celebrated the Eucharist in the new Sanctuary of the Word to place the Blessed Sacrament for the first time in the Tabernacle. On this occasion four seminarians received the ministry of Lectorate and three the ministry of Acolytate.
